On November 9 - 11, Ciputra Foundation collaborates with the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Indonesia to conduct an entrepreneurship camp for 15 Fijian entrepreneurs. This is part of the Indonesian government to promote the South South Cooperation as well as to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Asian African Conference. Following the courtesy visit of Ciputra Foundation to meet with the Fijian Prime Minister H.E. Jose Vorenge Bainimarama in 2012, a series of inter-ministerial meetings and visits between Indonesia and Fiji have been conducted. The outcome of those was the pilot project of entrepreneurship camp for Indonesian and Fijian entrepreneurs to acquire the technique and knowhow to scale their businesses. The entrepreneurs come from various sectors e.g. food and beverage, fashion and lifestyle, digital and technology, tourism and hospitality as well as social enterprises. The program was inspiringly successful and was well received by the participants both from Fiji as well as their Indonesian counterparts.
