Minister of start-ups, Micro-entreprises and knowledge economy, Mr YACINE OUALID, has announced that the the deputies of the National People's Assembly approved a draft law that includes the basic law of the self-contractor on November 14th, appointing that it coincidentally occurred on the same day as the beginning of the global entrepreneurship week (GEW) this year.


He quoted: “We are currently witnessing an important milestone and a big leap towards liberating the entrepreneurial spirit in the field of entrepreneurship. We have worked with great effort for more than a year in order to think, prepare and consult with all concerned parties with the aim of drafting a consensual legal framework on the emerging professions that are not framed.”


As said in his article of that same date, This law aims to regulate the new economic activities that have emerged with the emergence of the knowledge economy and the digital economy, which are not subject to any legal framework until now.


At the same time, the law amending the General Basic Law of the Public Service was also approved the same day, which included amendments regarding the inclusion of the holiday for the establishment of an institution for the benefit of those belonging to the public office.


And concluded: “We are slowly heading towards an entrepreneurial business climate that produces wealth and job positions, so let us all contribute to achieving the desired leap!”.
