Business coffee: Innovate. Engineer. Transform

ESI business coffee

At this Business Café, a dynamic round-table discussion brought together industry leaders, ESI alumni, and innovation support structures to demystify student entrepreneurship in Algeria. The session highlighted that entrepreneurship is an achievable journey, especially with the right guidance and ecosystem.

The event was actively hosted by the ESI incubator and CATI (Technology and Innovation Support Center), who showcased their key roles in supporting projects and startups, offering mentorship, facilitating funding pathways, and connecting innovators to a wider professional network.

The panel featured a founder of an accelerator, an experienced entrepreneur, a representative from a leading aviation company, and a successful alumni startup, providing students with diverse insights into innovation, business development, and sector-specific opportunities.

Students learned about available mechanisms to launch their own projects in Algeria, including incubation programs, funding opportunities, and innovation support from centers like CATI. The discussion also highlighted real success stories of student-led projects, demonstrating how ideas can grow into impactful ventures.

Inspired by these experiences and practical advice, students were encouraged to reflect on their own potential to innovate in tech, explore entrepreneurship paths, and envision themselves as future founders and problem-solvers across strategic sectors like IT, AI, and aviation.

By the end of the session, it was clear:
-Support structures exist to guide you,
- Success stories are real and achievable,
- And ESI students are ready to turn their ideas into real-world innovations.
