Closing Ceremony of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2025
On 23 November 2025, the Moloud Kacem Nait Belkacem Lecture Hall at Sétif 1 University – Ferhat Abbas hosted the closing ceremony of Global Entrepreneurship Week, which took place from 17 to 23 November 2025. The event was overseen by University President Prof. M. Latrech and attended by senior university officials, representatives of supporting institutions, economic and social partners, professors, and students.
The program began with the national anthem, followed by an introduction by Pr. F. Benali, Director of the Incubator, who summarized the week’s activities and highlighted the main themes of the day.
The closing ceremony featured a series of presentations and talks:
- Abdelrahim Zedoui discussed Artificial Intelligence and Digital Marketing, covering modern marketing fundamentals, AI-driven strategies, global marketing examples, and challenges related to cybersecurity and privacy.
- Mr. Hamza Ben Chli, Director of the Skills Center, spoke on digital transformation and cybersecurity, addressing threats, challenges, and practical measures to enhance institutional protection.
- Mr. M. Khabash, representative of the National Agency for Microcredit, presented an overview of the agency’s mission, objectives, eligibility criteria, and support mechanisms available to students and young entrepreneurs.
The event also showcased student success stories, featuring projects by Latifa Abbas and Haroun Samai, followed by the award ceremony recognizing the winners of two competitions organized during the week.
Prof. M. Latrech delivered closing remarks, thanking the participating institutions and partners for their contribution to a successful edition, which featured 25 activities in entrepreneurship and innovation and engaged over 2,500 students. He emphasized the crucial role of startups and micro-enterprises in wealth creation and the university’s strategic role as an economic driver.
The day concluded with a tour of the innovative projects exhibition and a visit to the booths of participating supporting institutions, celebrating the week’s achievements and inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurs.
