Commencement of the 18th and 19th training sessions for micro-enterprise project holders

Celebration of Global Entrepreneurship Week

As part of the activities of Global Entrepreneurship Week, the Entrepreneurship Development Center at the University of Science and Technology Houari Boumediene hosted, on November 17, 2025, the opening ceremony of the 18th and 19th training sessions for micro-enterprise project holders, in partnership with the National Agency for Entrepreneurship Support and Development – East Algeria.

This initiative aims to reinforce the university’s role as a key driver in promoting a culture of innovation and entrepreneurial spirit, in alignment with national efforts dedicated to supporting university students and enabling them to enter the world of entrepreneurship with confidence, through training and support spaces that combine both theory and practice.

The event opened with a comprehensive presentation of the training program, which covered several practical themes, most notably:

  • Understanding the fundamentals and key components of entrepreneurship.
  • Mechanisms for developing ideas and turning them into viable projects.
  • Techniques for preparing business plans and strategies for market entry.
  • Analyzing the current challenges facing young entrepreneurs and how to address them effectively.

The first day witnessed notable interactions between trainers and participants, characterized by constructive discussions and the exchange of experiences—reflecting students’ strong interest and eagerness to deepen their knowledge and enter the entrepreneurial world with creativity and confidence.

These training sessions aim to introduce participants to the various support and guidance mechanisms available through the programs of the National Agency for Entrepreneurship Support and Development, while also enabling them to build practical skills that will help them develop their future projects.

The Entrepreneurship Development Center at the University of Science and Technology Houari Boumediene continues to organize similar initiatives on a regular basis, as part of its belief in the university’s central role in shaping a generation that is innovative, proactive, and capable of contributing to the national economic dynamic
