FAB-LAB Formation SOLIDWORKS

As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen students’ digital design and engineering skills, the FAB-LAB of Djillali Liabès University – Sidi Bel Abbès organized a specialized training session on SOLIDWORKS, one of the leading software tools for 3D design and mechanical modeling.

This training workshop allowed participants to explore:
Fundamentals of 3D modeling using SOLIDWORKS
Creating sketches, parts, assemblies, and technical drawings
Understanding design constraints and parametric modeling
Introduction to simulation tools and stress analysis
Workflow from digital design to prototyping and manufacturing
Applying SOLIDWORKS designs to real FAB-LAB projects and 3D printing

The session provided a highly practical and interactive learning environment, enabling students to develop strong competencies in engineering design and digital fabrication. Participants also had the opportunity to work on real models and gain hands-on experience that supports their academic, entrepreneurial, and innovative projects.
