As part of its efforts to encourage scientific creativity and promote innovative approaches within the medical field, Djillali Liabès University – Sidi Bel Abbès organized an initiative to plant medicinal herbs at the Faculty of Medicine. This activity aimed to introduce students to the therapeutic potential of natural plants and foster innovation in the field of herbal medicine.

The initiative sought to:
Encourage future doctors and researchers to explore natural and alternative medical solutions
Promote awareness of the scientific and therapeutic value of medicinal plants
Provide students with a hands-on, experiential learning opportunity related to phytotherapy and natural remedies
Strengthen the link between academic training, scientific research, and real-world medical practices

Students and faculty members participated in planting selected medicinal herbs, symbolizing a step toward integrating nature-based innovation into modern medical education.
