As part of the activities of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2025, Djillali Liabès University – Sidi Bel Abbès organized a Chess Tournament, bringing together students from various faculties in a competitive and intellectually stimulating atmosphere.

This activity aimed to:
Promote strategic thinking and decision-making skills among students
Highlight the connection between chess and entrepreneurship, where planning, anticipation, and problem-solving are essential
Encourage a spirit of healthy competition, patience, and focus
Provide a recreational yet intellectually enriching environment during the entrepreneurial celebrations
Strengthen teamwork, analytical skills, and resilience — qualities crucial for future entrepreneurs

Throughout the tournament, participants demonstrated creativity, critical thinking, and tactical insight. The event also showcased the importance of logic and strategy, not only in games but also in business and project development.

The Chess Tournament was warmly received by the students and contributed to enriching the entrepreneurial spirit within the university.
