The Faculty of Economic Sciences at Djillali Liabès University – Sidi Bel Abbès, in collaboration with the university incubator Start DZ, organized a Pitch Competition for students who developed project ideas during the activities of Global Entrepreneurship Week.

This competition aimed to:
Encourage students to transform the ideas generated throughout the week into structured and presentable project concepts
Strengthen students’ pitching, communication, and critical thinking skills
Provide a platform for showcasing innovative ideas addressing economic and social challenges
Help aspiring entrepreneurs receive feedback, guidance, and evaluation from experts and jury members
Promote a competitive yet inspiring atmosphere that nurtures creativity and initiative

During the event, students presented their ideas in short, dynamic pitches, after which the jury evaluated each proposal based on innovation, feasibility, relevance, and potential impact.

This initiative reflects the university’s ongoing commitment to supporting entrepreneurial talent, fostering innovation, and empowering students to move from ideation to actionable project development.
