University of Setif 1 – Ferhat Abbas Holds University Directorate Council Meeting

On Monday, 24 November 2025, Professor Mohamed El Hadi Latreche, Rector of University of Setif 1 – Ferhat Abbas, chaired a meeting of the University Directorate Council. The session brought together the Secretary-General, the Vice-Rectors, Deans of Faculties, Institute Directors, the Incubator Director, a member of the Digital Strategy Office, the head of the Quality Assurance Unit, the Director of the Intensive Language Center, the head of the Systems and Networks Center, the Deputy Director for Scientific, Cultural, and Sports Activities, and the Director of the Central Library.

The council reviewed and discussed the key items listed on the meeting’s agenda, including:

• Recommendations of the National Universities Conference
• Innovation and Startup Development
• Follow-up of major strategic files (digitalization, English-language instruction, Study in Algeria, and the transition toward the 4.0 University model)
• Quality Assurance
• Scientific events, twinning agreements, and international mobility
• Various additional points

The meeting featured a rich and constructive discussion among all participants, resulting in a set of recommendations aimed at enhancing the university’s performance across all dimensions — academic, administrative, digital, and strategic.
