GEN Algeria has also witnessed one of the most challenging years, a year where we received with open arms our new members and program managers, we took the time to train them, show them the way to success, and push them harder than ever.
A year where the Entrepreneurship World Cup received (EWC) so many great startup ideas, not one, not two, but three of them won the competition to join the world’s best and do their best to show their work.
A year where we celebrated 15 years of Unleashing Ideas through Global Entrepreneurship Week in Algeria connecting thousands of people together with the aim to foster an entrepreneurial movement particularly in this exceptional period, GEW 2022 invites everyone to lay their first stone in realising new and innovative ideas with the commitment and resilience of communities.
Different ecosystem actors, experts, mentors and others in different fields held more than 4000 activities online, live or hybrid, providing valuable insights on current challenges of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Algeria. The event had shed light on the key points to remember when and how starting a business and the opportunities needed to go global and gain international visibility. This would undoubtedly inspire solemn individuals to take the plunge and become prominent entrepreneurs.
It is worth remembering that GEN Algeria is devoted to achieving core objectives in entrepreneurship empowerment. It is a source of valuable opportunities that contributes to building a sustainable business network and connecting it to aspiring individuals.
