VOLTAGAZ Takes Top Prize at Entrepreneurship World Cup National Finals in Algeria

VOLTAGAZ, a startup that converts gas into energy by providing additional services through manufacturing and offset installations, captured first prize at the national finals of the Entrepreneurship World Cup (EWC) competition held recently in Algiers, Algeria. VOLTAGAZ presents a new vision for reliable and sustainable energy distribution where everyone has access to it, especially those who live or work in unreached areas without electricity or gas. It provides setups and services relying on mobile apps..

  • TREELAMP from Batna, a startup that  Valorization of jellyfish for pharmaceutical (type 1 collagen), medical (anesthetics/analgesics) and agricultural (fertilizers) applications. A zero waste project exploiting all parts of jellyfish for sustainable use.

  • Agriculture farming from Guelma, a startup that Our company provides an advanced management system for livestock tracking using RFID technology, enabling precise identification, real-time monitoring, and efficient management of livestock to enhance productivity and animal welfare.

  • Bargme from Algiers, BargMe startup offers AI based optimisation solutions like Sawem, which is an artificial intelligence that assists consumers during their shopping to help them manage their budget wisely considering their desires.

  • Immotify from Algiers, Immotify is a pioneering digital platform dedicated to democratizing access to equitable housing through the power of technology and data. We bridge the gap between real estate developers, new home buyers, and financial institutions.

Voltagaz, SignLingo and RouteWise will advance to the “EWC 250” - the next round of the global competition against applicants from 200 countries. All founders advancing to the next round will participate in a Bootcamp which features virtual training and mentoring sessions targeted to their company’s current stage and growth trajectory. This is a key step to qualify for the EWC Global Finals.

The top 100 finalists globally will advance to pitch live for a share of USD 1 million in cash prizes at the EWC Global Finals held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in Fall 2024. Global finalists also gain automatic entry into the GEN Starters Club, an invitation-only community of talented founders from around the world.
