"To be an entrepreneur is to experience the future today." This will be the theme of the 12th edition of the Global Entrepreneurship Week (SGE), which takes place in November 18th to 24th, all over Brazil. During the period, there will be lectures, workshops, workshops, fairs, courses, debates, online competitions.
The opening ceremony will be at the National Sebrae on November 18th. Under the title The Entrepreneur's House, the event will be mainly inspiring for entrepreneurs and will be webcast. Success cases will bring inspiring stories to encourage the next step in the entrepreneurial journey, whether through formalization, overcoming management challenges in the first year of life, incorporating innovations, among others. The President of Sebrae, Carlos Melles, emphasizes that the event will approach the entrepreneurship of the future with an inclusive vision. “It is crucial to view innovation as a process of cross-cutting business insertion. We will work on what entrepreneurial behaviors and skills are needed for small business owners to meet the challenges ahead” said Melles.
Sebrae is the host institution, responsible for national coordination, together with the GEW Council, composed by the Entrepreneurial Alliance, Angels of Brazil, Anprotec, Artemisia, Brazil Junior, CONAJE, Endeavor and Junior Achievement; GEW in Brazil also mobilizes public authorities, companies, non-governmental organizations, incubators, accelerators, and other development agents of society.
