NSCC students from across the province on Friday, November 22, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., to tackle a social problem facing Nova Scotia.
- Students are placed on teams (in-person from their campus or virtually)
- At the start of the competition, teams receive a problem related to a social issue facing Nova Scotia
- Teams spend the next 12 hours working on a solution
- Solutions are judged by a panel of industry experts and the top three teams are awarded cash prizes
- First: $2,000
- Second: $1,500
- Third: $1,000
