Opening of the Innovate or die -competition of 2018

This year there was 40 students participating from South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences to this journey. The participation was enabled by an EU funded project (www.xamk.fi/yrittajaksi). Through the journey the students broke barriers, united with people from different backgrounds, learned by doing and got experience of culture, where innovations are valued and people feel encouraged to bring up their ideas. By the past weeks students have learned to use innovation tools and they have made a research about their target company. So, they were ready for the competition - develop the best innovation for the real life problem and give a pitch of a lifetime. As a bonus students were granted with academic credits and they had a chance to win 1000€ with their team.

The winner of Innovate or die -competition of 2018 was one of Xamk's teams. They got their case from the company Vianor.

The happy winning team from Xamk.
