Country Director of Entrepreneurship World Cup St. Lucia (EWC SLU), Michelle N. Samuel thanks all who participated in this year's event.
“Entrepreneurship World Cup St. Lucia was a major undertaking for my team and I (Michealla Charles-Noel, Lisa Yarde + Anita James) at SLUDTERA," said Samuel. "We all knew that partnering with a local agency that has a keen interest in entrepreneurship and the youth would be the best route for us. Invest St. Lucia (ISL) was the agency that helped to Co-organize the competition with us."
"With the assistance of their representative—Dave O. Headley, who served as EWC SLU Country Coordinator—we were able to add prize partners and a panel of extraordinary judges who would help make EWC St. Lucia what it was meant to be. We say thank you to ISL for partnering with SLUDTERA to execute the national leg of the biggest pitch competition in the world.
For this year's event, we knew we needed to reach the local masses. To do so, we brought on Lisa C. Jawahir, who served as EWC SLU Marketing & Communications Coordinator.
Entrepreneurship World Cup St. Lucia could not have been a success without our prize partners. We say thank you to these partners: Advanced Intellectual Methods Inc. (AIM) and 1st National Bank St. Lucia Limited, for sponsoring the Preliminary competition of which over XCD$15,000 in perks will be shared among Sarbio Fuels, Advanced Company Group and NGage.
And finally, I want to extend a very big thank you to the Global Hosts of the Entrepreneurship World Cup for extending this opportunity to St. Lucia: The Global Entrepreneurship Network, Misk Global Forum and tGELF," said Samuels.
"Once again, thank you to all of our partners for EWC SLU 2020. We look forward to collaborating with you in 2021!"
