Paulo Andrez has been working with a number of European governments in the field of Early Stage Investment policies and Business Angels Co-Investment Funds design. He is also a member of the European Commission Advisory Group “Innovation in SMEs” and chairs the European Commission Expert Group for support of Slovak and Romanian government in designing and implementing innovative entrepreneurship policies including: university spin offs, incubation, acceleration, business angels and venture capital policies. Founder & Board Member of DNA Cascais Incubator Centre which helped the creation of more than 300 start ups since 2007. President Emeritus of European Trade Association for Business Angels (EBAN) and founder of Portuguese Business Angel Federation (FNABA). He is also a Business Angel investor with a portfolio of 15 investments and a serial entrepreneur. He was awarded in 2012 by EBAN Awards with the best European Early Stage Investment. He is a guest lecturer in several European universities on the topic of “Risk mitigation in early stage projects”.
