Malta’s Entrepreneurship Ecosystem: Resources, Incentives and Support

As entrepreneurial ecosystems evolve, resources, incentives and support for starting up and growing businesses become more abundant, yet more dispersed. It is therefore essential for start-ups and aspiring entrepreneurs to keep abreast and engage with the opportunities present within their ecosystem.

This information session brings together a variety of stakeholders who aim to mobilise entrepreneurial activities through various support initiatives and resources. It shall include presentations on the University of Malta’s TakeOff business incubator and Knowledge Transfer Office, the grants and incentives offered by Malta Enterprise and Malta Council for Science and Technology, Go Beyond Angel Investing, the ZAAR crowdfunding platform, Trade Malta's internationalisation support, Malta Information Technology Agency's Innovation Hub and ‘You StartIT’ initiative, the Ministry for the Economy, Investment and Small Business' 'Enterprise Incentives' app, as well as BUSINESSLABS and CocoHub co-working spaces.

This event shall be held at LC 217 at the University of Malta on Thursday 21st November from 14.00 to 17.00. It is primarily aimed at the Edward de Bono Institute Master in Creativity and Innovation students, however, all other students are welcome to attend.

Attendance is free of charge, but registration though this form is required.
