Entrepreneurship is necessary for today's society where innovation is of great importance as a profit model for businesses. But also, more and more young people are willing to take the risk of becoming self-employed by setting up their own business. Co-lectured by Hein Roelfsema, GEN Netherlands Managing Director, the course provides participants with the perspective and skills they need to be even more entrepreneurial in life. This may be through setting up their own business, but also through entrepreneurial behavior within their current work environment.

The virtual course takes the participant from societal trends to designing a business model and financing it. It discusses the various aspects that are important in modern society, such as digitalization, circular economy and the social contribution that many entrepreneurs make as well as the financing issues of how to set up your own business.

In addition, it provides context on entrepreneurship, such as specific questions of economic development and participating in entrepreneurial ecosystems. During the course, the participants will meet the top professors in the field of entrepreneurship from Dutch universities and build a global community of like-minded entrepreneurial people who will be able to keep in touch with each other in the future.
