The path of entrepreneurship is one of the most difficult and uncertain. Every day founders face a huge number of challenges and tough decisions – constantly “learning on the fly.” That’s why it’s important to have mentors, experienced startup founders and other peers for founders to rely on to answer questions and give advice.
One of the Russian key players for startup ecosystem development, Center for Entrepreneurship, a core partner of the Global Entrepreneurship Network in Russia, and an official organizer of the Global Entrepreneurship Week, is launching Startup Huddle in Moscow. The first Startup Huddle event will take place at 7.00 pm on May 25 in Skolkovo Technopark, that will be a co-organizer of Startup Huddle in Moscow.
About Startup Huddle
Startup Huddle is a free, monthly program designed to educate, engage and connect entrepreneurs. Every month entrepreneurs come together to pitch their startup, reveal challenges and crowdsource solutions. From local founders, innovators, educators and investors to a global network of entrepreneurial leaders, Startup Huddle provides a unique platform to strengthen your startup community.
Startup Huddle Format
Every month, one or two early-stage startups will present their companies to a diverse audience of peers, mentors, educators and advisors. Each founder presents for six minutes, followed by a 20-minute question-and-answer session with the audience. Afterward, each startup receives feedback via an audience survey and from the local organizers in their city. The culture surrounding Startup Huddle is that of a supportive, neutral space welcoming entrepreneurs to be open and honest about their businesses and the challenges they face. To increase the quality of presentations, founders will receive access to the "Kauffman Founders School Powerful Presentation," an online course designed by Kauffman Foundation.
Organizers in Russia

CFE aims to develop a healthy entrepreneurship ecosystem in Russia and bring the best world-acknowledged practices to Russian entrepreneurs. CFE programs operate in eight Russian cities.
One of the co-organizers of Startup Huddle in Moscow is Skolkovo Technopark, which is a hub of innovators, entrepreneurs and scientists aimed at creating world-class companies.
Globally, Startup Huddle is powered by GEN, and continually is refined by a dedicated community of entrepreneurs in different countries.
