Thailand launched the GEW Thailand 2013 campaign with a nationwide competition to ignited the spirit of entrepreneurship. The Thailand "go-viral" video competition is the first of its kind in the Kingdom.
The aim of the competition is to encourage Thai youth, creative agencies, students, entrepreneurs and more to put themselves into the shoes of an entrepreneur and create a marketing buzz for a brand.
Contestants can select one or more of the participating brands, present their marketing concept and ideas in a video no longer then two minutes and then do what it takes to have their videos "go-viral" on YouTube.
The number of "likes" on YouTube will add points to the selection of the winners. The competition is sponsored by the Minor International group with a cash prize of THB500,000 (US$17,000) to the winner with many more prizes and benefits for the runner ups.
