4th Leap Conference

Activity Description

The Leap Conference, which is one of the key events in the Global Entrepreneurship Week celebrations in Uganda, will draw together 500 youth, and enterprising students and graduates from Uganda’s top Universities for an impactful and hands-on programme of practical support for identifying and developing business ideas.

As the name suggest, The Leap Conference is designed to challenge and inspire the youth to literally take the “Leap” into the world of entrepreneurship.

As well as a unique opportunity to network with a diverse range of young people from a variety of backgrounds, the Leap Conference, which happens once a year, features practical games and business simulations, seasoned entrepreneurs, mentors and speaker - prepare to be inspired.

Can I apply even though I am not a student?

Absolutely. While the majority will be students, we are definitely open to having some (very strong) non-student participants, particularly investment ready start-ups with working prototypes or products and services ready to hit the market.
