Innovating to Net Zero

Activity Description

Climate change is the defining crisis of our time and real change is needed now.

For nearly three decades, the UN has been bringing together almost every country on earth for global climate summits - COPs or ‘Conference of the Parties’. In that time climate change has gone from being a fringe issue to a global priority. This year will be the 26th annual summit – giving it the name COP26 -- and it is taking place in Glasgow during Global Entrepreneurship Week.

We can only save our climate by unleashing the huge potential of green innovation & entrepreneurship.

Startup Planet is uniting climate entrepreneurs across 180 countries through the Global Entrepreneurship Network on one roadmap to assist in solving the climate change challenge.

Startup Planet gives green entrepreneurs & startups a unified voice, to demonstrate their transformative power in solving the climate crisis.

This transformative potential can only be unleashed if regulation and policy supports our aim is to bring green entrepreneurs & startups from across the planet together with decision makers to create tangible solutions and concrete actions for our climate and to reach net zero emissions.

Nothing is impossible with the creativity, dedication, and passion of entrepreneurs. We are Startup Planet. We are uniting the worlds’ green startups & entrepreneurs and amplifying their voice to global policy makers.

Join us as we discuss how we unleash the potential of global green entrepreneurs and startups and explore potential barriers faced globally and highlight some of the changes policymakers could make to support the success of these climate entrepreneurs. For these discussions, we will be joined by globally renowned speakers online and in-person in Glasgow during COP26. More details here.
