Marcus Collins is an award-winning marketer and cultural translator. His deep understanding of brand strategy and consumer behavior has helped him bridge the academic-practitioner gap for blue-chip brands and startups alike. He is a recipient of Advertising Age's 40 Under 40 award and Crain's Business' 40 Under 40 award, and a recent inductee to the American Advertising Federation’s Hall of Achievement. Before serving as Chief Consumer Connections Officer at Doner Advertising, Marcus led Social Engagement at Steve Stoute’s New York-based advertising agency, Translation. There, Marcus developed a practice to create contagious marketing programs that extended across both the online and offline worlds of “social." His strategies and creative contributions have led to the success of Budweiser’s “Made In America” music festival, the launch of Bud Light Platinum, the launch of the Brooklyn Nets (Hello Brooklyn!), and State Farm’s “Cliff Paul” campaign – among others.  Marcus Collins 

Mikal Brown is a Marketing Strategist and Consultant. A highly organized and detail-oriented entrepreneur with a knack for transforming ideas into profit.  For years, she has succeeded in guiding clients on the path to success and assisted them in making some of their most complex decisions in business. Mikal has had the pleasure of working with celebrity entrepreneurs such as rapper YoYo, political figures such as NBA player and former Mayor of Sacramento, CA Kevin Johnson.   She has also worked with small to medium businesses and associations such as the CA NAACP, The Greater Urban League, The City of Sacramento and collegiate institutions like South Carolina State University, Claflin University and Cosumnes River College


(GEW), launched by the Global Entrepreneurship Network in 2008, is the largest entrepreneurship community in the globe with more than 30,000 members in the network. Franchesca Thompson serves as GEW Community Organizer for Gwinnett. She works with organizations and individuals to develop, organize, and host events across Gwinnett and Metro Atlanta.
