In preparation for our upcoming Golden Idea Pitch Competition (think "Shark Tank" for students), Southern Miss is boosting campus-wide excitement and awareness through a Professor Pitch competition. The wonderfully diverse pool of contestants includes 3 deans along with a host of other great representatives from Business, Arts & Sciences, Education & Human Services, Nursing & Health Professions, and the Graduate School!
Join us for lunch and to vote on your favorite professor "pitch” as they meet head-to-head in a friendly game of Silicon Valley Startups!
How does it work? Professors will create and present impromptu pitches for fictional companies based on 4 randomly selected cards: a company name, a customer description, a “hot trend,” and an industry. You pick the winners!
