Idelin Molinas Vega
Bio
Idelin Molinas Vega, received his Ph.D. in Civil & Environmental Engineering at The University of Iowa (USA) and Bachelor in Civil Engineering at the National University of Asuncion, Paraguay. In 2013 he obtained his Project Management Professional (PMP) credential at the Project Management Institute (PMI). In 2014 Idelin was appointed Executive Secretary at the National Council for Science and Technology (CONACYT), where he is responsible for the implementation of programs aimed at fostering R+D+I at Universities and Research Institutions, as well as innovation among firms. In the private sector, Idelin held managerial positions within ExxonMobil, where he was responsible for the engineering process for Retail investment in the Northern Region (CO, PE, EC, VE) and Souther Region (AR, CL, PY, UY). Later, Idelin was the Executive Director of Instituto Desarrollo, a prestigious paraguayan Think Tank, being responsible for several programs for public policy research, as well as Monitoring and Evaluation of Development Projects. Idelin is also an Associate Professor at the Catholic University in Paraguay, where he teaches courses on Project Management, Quality Assurance and the Senior Thesis Seminar.
