Laura Marsiaj Ribeiro is an economist with a passion for education and 4 years of teaching experience at a public school in São Paulo. In her years in the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Brazil, she was responsible for designing and running several open innovation programs in large corporations. After her Master in Public Administration with a focus on Education Policy at Columbia University, she has gathered the experience as a teacher trainer and a consultant for Education Policy in state and municipal Secretariats of Education in Brazil, and at the New York City Department of Education.
She is now co-founder and CEO of Eu Ensino, which means I teach, in Portuguese, a teacher training platform for social-emotional learning and classroom management techniques.
Eu Ensino offers the support needed for educators to focus on what really matters: student learning. As a one-stop shop for teacher training resources, trainers and teachers can access a structured approach to professional development sessions in schools, following the adult learning cycle methodology.
