Leonard Tshitenge is The Founder of Consciously Exposed and one of the Co-Founder of Progressive African Network, a dynamic Boston based Congolese American Poet, Speaker, Master of Ceremony, Mental Health Service Provider, Social Entrepreneur and a Proud Father. Born in the Democratic Republic of Congo in Africa, Mr. Tshitenge co-founded the Progressive African Network, Inc. and uses his poetry, social entrepreneurship, and cultural events to promote entrepreneurship and advocate for underprivileged African Diaspora populations, as well as continental Africans. These include the populations in the Eastern Congo region impacted by the Congo’s War, known as the Deadliest War Since World War II. Mr. Tshitenge has regularly collaborated with the City of Boston Mayor’s Office of Arts and Culture and the Boston Planning and Development Agency. Mr. Tshitenge is an experienced community organizer, youth mentor and leader advocating for young people of African descent in their local and international communities. He utilizes his unparalleled ability to inspire and bring together people of all ethnic, religious, and economic backgrounds in the interest of human rights and development.
