Jwaili’s top priority is to lead Libya to build its Entrepreneurship Ecosystem.
Prof. Jwaili is an Senior Advisor on TVET and Entrepreneurship to Libyan Minister of Education, and he is also a professor at the College of Business & Finance – Tripoli, teaching Entrepreneurship and SMEs. He strongly believes that Libya’s excessive public sector employment problem (88% of workforce are employed by public sector) and unemployment especially amongst youth (over 19%) can be hugely reduced during the next ten years through entrepreneurship development and building an entrepreneurship ecosystem with community involvement and embedding entrepreneurial learning across the education system. Prof. Jwaili introduced the Entrepreneurial Learning Initiative Project which is on the agenda of the Libyan Government of National Accord (GNA) to approve and appoint the project steering committee lead by minister of education. He is also co-founder of an initiative titled “Enterprise Award Libya” (EAL) which is an entrepreneurial competition for higher education new graduates in Libya, where he was appointed as Deputy Chair of the Permanent High Committee for EAL. He is also the Director for UNEVOC Centre in Libya.
Prof. Jwaili is the co-founder and ex-chairman of one of the leading tourism companies “Les Voyages Tourism Services Company” he also participated as team leader in the National Strategy for Tourism Development in Libya.
His previous posts include chairman of the National Board for Technical and Vocational Education for eight years, Director of Planning and Studies with the Libyan Labour Authority; and Director of Planning & Development at the National Committee for Technical and Vocational Education.
