Discover Innovation at Kem CARE: A School Entrepreneurship Visit
As part of the ongoing activities of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2025, students and young entrepreneurs in Douala will have the unique opportunity to visit Kem CARE, a company specializing in natural hair care for Afro-textured hair.
Participants will tour the offices and production facilities, gaining firsthand insight into the company’s operations, product development, and quality control processes. Experts from Kem CARE will share their knowledge, highlighting innovation, local craftsmanship, and entrepreneurial strategies essential to building a successful business in the cosmetic sector.
The initiative is designed to inspire students, awaken entrepreneurial thinking, and demonstrate how local businesses can grow and compete in national and international markets. Participants will also learn about potential support programs, mentorship, and resources available to young cosmetic entrepreneurs.
This visit reinforces the mission of Global Entrepreneurship Week: to connect students with real-world examples of successful businesses, promote creativity, and encourage the next generation of innovators to seize opportunities within Douala’s growing entrepreneurial ecosystem.
