About the Presenter:

Andrew Bycroft is an author, public speaker, cyber resilience strategist, and CEO of The Security Artist.

Andrew has over 20 years experience working with and supporting ASX, privately owned and government organisations on their strategy to reduce the threat of cybercrime.  He has provided design, implementation, advice and thought leadership to some of the largest organisations throughout Asia Pacific. Through a bespoke framework and methodology, he helps businesses to drive security from the top down and shift the focus of security from a technical approach to risk based. Andrew’s methodology works on organisations of every size, every geography, and every industry.

Andrew is a public speaker; a member of the AICD; a member of the Risk Management Institute of Australasia, member of the Australian Information Security Association; and a member of the Information Security Audit and Controls Association.  He is the author of the recently published book “The Cyber Intelligent Executive” (June 2016) which is targeted at executives to help them understand the mistakes their organisation is making, the problems this leads to, and the solution, which they must play a part in, if they wish to stay in the boardroom and out of the courtroom.
