Anti-Sleep Alarm for Drivers Featured at Global Entrepreneurship Week 2024 Mentoring Sessions

As part of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2024, the Automobile Department at Daffodil Institute of Engineering Technology will host exclusive one-on-one mentoring sessions for students. These sessions will guide students in developing their project ideas, offering expert advice on overcoming challenges and enhancing their work.

A key project showcased is the Anti Sleep Alarm for Drivers, led by 2nd-semester student Zarif Abdullah, with team members Md. Jahidul Islam and Md. Tushar Imran. This safety-focused project aims to reduce fatigue-related accidents by detecting signs of drowsiness in drivers. Using sensors to monitor erratic steering or blinking patterns, the system triggers an alert (sound or vibration) to warn drivers, ensuring safer driving and preventing accidents caused by driver fatigue.
