Ground Fault Wire Detector Project Showcased at Global Entrepreneurship Week 2024

As part of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2024, the Electrical Department at Daffodil Polytechnic Institute will organize exclusive one-on-one mentoring sessions to assist students in enhancing and refining their projects. These sessions will provide personalized guidance to help students address challenges and improve their project concepts.

One of the highlighted projects is the Ground Fault Wire Detector, led by 4th-semester student Faria Zaman Sraboni. This project aims to detect ground faults in electrical wiring systems, which can pose significant safety risks if left unaddressed. The system uses advanced sensors to identify any leakage or short circuit in the wiring, ensuring prompt alerts to prevent accidents such as electrocution or fire hazards. The Ground Fault Wire Detector project contributes to improving electrical safety in both residential and industrial settings.
