As part of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2024, the Electrical Department at Daffodil Polytechnic Institute will offer one-on-one mentoring sessions to help students refine and develop their projects. These sessions provide valuable opportunities for students to get expert advice and insights into improving their project concepts and execution.

One of the standout projects featured is the Motion Detection Lighting System, led by 4th-semester student Md. Sagor Islam. This system automatically controls lighting based on motion detection, turning lights on when movement is detected and off when the area is unoccupied. Designed to enhance energy efficiency and convenience, the system is ideal for homes, offices, and public spaces. By reducing unnecessary energy consumption, it helps lower electricity costs while contributing to sustainable living practices.
