Obstacle Avoiding Car Project Showcased at Global Entrepreneurship Week 2024 Mentoring Sessions

During Global Entrepreneurship Week 2024, the Department of Automobile at Daffodil Institute of Engineering Technology will organize personalized mentoring sessions to support students in refining their project ideas and development. These one-on-one sessions will allow students to interact directly with mentors, gaining valuable insights on overcoming challenges and enhancing their projects.

One notable project featured is the Obstacle Avoiding Car, led by 4th-semester student Md. Shahed Islam Redwan, with team members Md. Ariful Islam and Shariful Islam. This project, under the Safety Purpose category, leverages advanced sensors such as ultrasonic, infrared, and radar to detect obstacles in the car's path. The system automatically adjusts the vehicle's movement to avoid collisions, ensuring safe navigation without human intervention, making it especially useful in dynamic environments like busy roads or parking lots.
