River Garbage Collector Project Highlighted at Global Entrepreneurship Week 2024

As part of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2024, the Electrical Department at Daffodil Polytechnic Institute will organize special one-on-one mentoring sessions to support students in advancing and refining their projects. These sessions will offer personalized guidance to help students develop their project concepts and troubleshoot technical challenges.

A key project featured is the River Garbage Collector, led by 4th-semester student Md. Arafat Islam. This innovative project aims to address the growing issue of water pollution by designing a system that automatically collects garbage and debris from rivers and water bodies. Using mechanical and electrical components, the River Garbage Collector can help clean and maintain water ecosystems, contributing to environmental conservation and improving water quality. The project highlights the importance of sustainable solutions for waste management and the protection of aquatic life.
