Transmission Line Fault Detector Project Featured at Global Entrepreneurship Week 2024
As part of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2024, the Electrical Department at Daffodil Polytechnic Institute will host exclusive one-on-one mentoring sessions to assist students in advancing their projects. These personalized sessions will provide expert advice on project development, idea generation, and overcoming technical challenges.
One of the key projects showcased is the Transmission Line Fault Detector, led by 6th-semester student Md. Saim. This project aims to automatically detect faults in transmission lines, such as short circuits or open circuits, using advanced sensors and diagnostic tools. By identifying faults in real-time, the system helps reduce downtime, improve maintenance efficiency, and enhance the reliability of power distribution networks. This project is a vital step toward making electrical systems safer and more resilient.
