Startup Huddle Barbados is a vibrant and dynamic monthly event hosted by The Barbados Youth Business Trust (BYBT) in partnership with Gen global , designed to empower and support local entrepreneurs on their journey to success.

What is a Startup Huddle? Startup Huddle is a free, monthly educational program that provides a unique platform for two local startups to showcase their businesses. Each presenting startup has six minutes to pitch their idea, followed by 20 minutes of interactive Q&A with a room full of peers, mentors, service providers, and potential investors. Whether held online or face-to-face, Startup Huddle ensures a supportive and neutral space where entrepreneurs can be open and honest about their businesses and the challenges they face.

Our Culture: At Startup Huddle, we foster a culture of support, encouragement, and collaboration. We believe in the power of community to drive innovation and success. It's a place where entrepreneurs can share their ideas, receive valuable feedback, and connect with like-minded individuals who are passionate about entrepreneurship.

Objectives: Our primary goal is to create a safe space for local entrepreneurs to share their business ideas and receive constructive feedback. But that's not all. We also aim to:

• Stimulate innovative entrepreneurship ideas among our audience, both in person and online.
• Expand the network of entrepreneurs by providing ample opportunities for networking and collaboration.
• Increase exposure for participating startups and facilitate potential partnership opportunities.
• Enhance entrepreneurs' pitching skills through practice and feedback.
• Share event recordings with other startup huddle facilitators in the region to foster knowledge exchange and collaboration.
