Global Entrepreneurship Week in Belarus kicked off with a roundtable discussion entitled “Should Social Entrepreneurship Earn Money?”
Participants of the Round Table included: Masha Cheriakova of UNESCO Clubs, Anja Cheriakova of Urbanseeds, Denis Kondratovich of socialweekend.by, Nastia Khamiankova of Bel.biz, and Gerd Junne, Stichting The Network University.
The Opening Ceremony took place later in the evening and was attended by Tania Marinich, Founder of Bel.Biz, Ethan A. Goldrich U.S. Chargé D'affaires, Bruce Bucknell British Ambassador To The Republic Of Belarus, and Nikolai Snopkov, Minister Of Economy Of Belarus.
GEW Belarus will host several other keynotes, panels, and networking opportunities throughout the week. Topics to discussed will include “Investing in Alternative / Advanced Energy and Efficiency. Challenges and Opportunities”, “Innovation as a strategy for the development of the national economy”, and “Brain Drain. Should we fear?”
