The Boldly Vulnerable Series: Entrepreneurship and Mental Health

Entrepreneurship is often synonymous with hustle, non-stop work, and giving it your all. Those of us drawn to the entrepreneur lifestyle are often self-sufficient, resilient, and creative. But we are also particularly vulnerable to struggling with mental health challenges, whether it's stress, anxiety, OCD or depression. In fact, a 2015 University of California study suggests that nearly a full half of people who start a company say they have struggled with some form of mental illness, with a third saying they have a lifetime illness.

This Global Entrepreneurship Week, join us and other Toronto entrepreneurs for an honest conversation on our mental wellbeing with a panel featuring experts in entrepreneurship and mental health. We explore why entrepreneurs are particularly suceptible to experiencing mental illness, how we can better support our personal and community mental health, as well as providing tips for managing your business while experiencing a mental health setback.

PANELIST ANNOUNCEMENT COMING SOON.
