Launch of Global Entrepreneurship Week in the Adamawa Region
Global Entrepreneurship Week 2025: Spotlight on the Adamawa Region
The Adamawa Region of Cameroon is preparing to host the Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2025, a premier initiative aimed at promoting innovation, creativity, and sustainable business development. This week-long celebration offers a unique platform for entrepreneurs, investors, and stakeholders to connect, exchange ideas, and explore opportunities that can drive economic growth in the region.
Adamawa’s diverse economic landscape, from agriculture and livestock to tourism and handicrafts, presents significant opportunities for entrepreneurial development. GEW 2025 seeks to harness this potential by providing resources, guidance, and visibility for both emerging and established businesses, helping them turn ideas into successful ventures.
The program includes practical workshops, training sessions, and mentoring initiatives, offering participants insights into business management, marketing strategies, and innovative practices tailored to the local context. These activities are designed to strengthen skills, inspire creativity, and encourage sustainable entrepreneurship across the region.
Youth and women, critical drivers of innovation, are at the heart of the celebrations. Schools and universities will host entrepreneurial clubs and mentorship sessions, while special activities highlight the achievements of women-led enterprises, emphasizing inclusivity and empowerment.
Conferences, panel discussions, and exhibitions will provide platforms to share success stories, showcase local innovations, and foster collaboration between entrepreneurs, policymakers, and industry experts. GEW 2025 in Adamawa is more than an event—it is a movement to stimulate economic opportunities, strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem, and inspire a culture of innovation.
