One of the main coordinators for GEW in Zambia, Matilda Karimamusama, is being nominated for the Barclay’s Bank Global Group Chairman's Award and is now one of the final six finalists. Matilda has been personally commited to SMEs and empowerment in Zambia. She has worked on GEW for the last couple years, helped the SME Toolkit Zambia and ELIF Business Solutions ltd, and has served as a judge for Startup Cup Zambia. You can learn more about her work in Zambia and vote for Matilda at http://peoplesvote.barclays.com/entries/matilda-karimamusama. It would be great to see more GEW representatives get the recognition they deserve for helping create great entrepreneurship communities.

We would also like to welcome two new countries to the campaign. Our Hosts in Senegal andMontenegro have helped bring their regional offices in Mali and Morocco into the campaign. The local office of Jokkolabs has come on board in Mali to organize GEW. And the local CEED office in Morocco has joined GEW in their country.
