Starting or growing your business is hard work, and it makes a big difference to have a few advantages in your corner.  When you present yourself and your business, what is perceived?  How well do you deal with your clients, your partners, your staff?

This event features a varied panel of experienced local entrepreneurs who will share some of their own experiences and expertise to help you put your best foot forward in every part of your business!

The discussion panel will be facilitated by Leadership and Mindset Executive Coach, Lorna Weston-Smyth. Whether you are starting or growing your business, an entrepreneur, business professional or employer, this is a forum that you do not want to miss.

The event also includes a business trade show, and a networking lunch.

About Facilitator:

Lorna Weston-SmythLorna Weston-Smyth is a Leadership and Mindset Executive Coach and an Independent Executive Director of the John Maxwell Team who brings her years as a serial entrepreneur to businesses and professionals to help them grow to the next level. For some that’s an issue of being stuck in their own leadership or self-leadership, unable to make a commitment and follow through with it themselves or unable to lead their teams to where they want to go. For others it’s been unlocking a limiting belief that’s holding them back. Lorna works with decision makers to refine their thinking and make better decisions for themselves and their business so they can create the culture and business that they want by choice not chance. She has worked with business owners and career professionals to significantly improve their productivity, enhance their decision making abilities, get results and reduce their frustration. She has guided new and veteran leaders to pursue and realize their dream, helping them create real actions plans, identify their blind spots and clarify their next step while providing an accountability system through coaching and mentoring. She is a member of the Forbes Coaches Council and a founding member of the Maxwell Coaching Certification Program. She is on the John Maxwell Team President’s Advisory Council (PAC) and serves as Chair of the Website Committee for PAC and the President of the Board of Directors for the Durham Workforce Authority.
