Denmark Celebrates Entrepreneurial Youth

Since its inception in 2008, Global Entrepreneurship Week has celebrated innovation and strived to strengthen entrepreneurial ecosystem in all corners of the world. This past fall, 150 countries engaged experienced entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, young students and everyone in between to celebrate entrepreneurship with a variety of events.

One such event took place in Denmark on November 20. Danish entrepreneurial youth competed on ideas and creative solutions at the 2014 Danish Entrepreneurship Awards. In the end, 13 impressive ideas were awarded, and the young creators and inventors were applauded on stage by thousands of attendees. With 6,000 participants, the event was one of the largest to take place during GEW.
