Creative entrepreneurs from all over the world have been gathered in Copenhagen during Creative Business Cup 2014 over the last three days – The World Cup for creative entrepreneurs.

Representatives from more than 50 countries have pitched their projects to an international jury consisting of business people such as Christian Stadil from Thornico A/S, Stiven Kerestegian Ganarillas from LEGO, Flavia Simon from Google, Håkan Nordkvist from IKEA, and Amy Cosper, editor in chief at Entrepreneur Magazine.

After a very exciting voting session, the jury decided to award first place to the team behind CTAdventure from Poland, a startup re-imagining education by involving users in a creative learning process in important areas such as chemistry, physics, and maths using modern technology like augmented reality. In addition to announcing CTAdventures the winner of the cup and declaring it to be the world's best creative startup, the judges awarded CTAdventures with a prize of 20,000 USD as well as VIP participation in the Global Entrepreneurship Congress in Milan during March next year.

Rasmus Tscherning, managing director at Center for Cultural and Experience Economy, says, ”The last three days we have seen the most creative projects from all over the world. Among the ideas has been a fashionable technology suit to environmental friendly air fresheners to an app, which helps unknown musicians, and it is fantastic to jump-start Global Entrepreneurship Week with Creative Business Cup. The entrepreneurs have worldwide attention this week, which is a necessity, as we know, how much the creative professions are contributing to innovation and growth. And that is something the entrepreneurs have shown during Creative Business Cup.”
