GET Forum
GET Forum – Global Entrepreneurship and Technology Forum for Latin America and the Caribbean is the flagship event of the Inter-American Development Bank Group (IDB Group) on technology-driven innovation for development. It is part of an IDB Group platform aimed at strengthening entrepreneurial innovation ecosystems and advancing early-stage investment across the region.
As a high-level, business-oriented event, GET Forum seeks to create a space where talent, capital, and knowledge come together to drive innovative solutions with scalable impact in the region.
The Forum brings together stakeholders from the public and private sectors, from across the region and globally, including investors, startup founders, corporate CEOs, sector experts, ecosystem support organizations (accelerators, foundations, universities, etc.), and public sector representatives engaged in innovation and entrepreneurship.
Content and activities will revolve around three thematic pillars:
- Expanding economic opportunities through tech skills
- Scaling investment and venture capital
- Shaping policy for innovative markets
GET Forum 2026 will take place in Quito, Ecuador, from October 5 to 7, and will operate under a public-private model. This edition will be co-organized by the IDB Group in collaboration with the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN), the Alliance for Entrepreneurship and Innovation of Ecuador (AEI), and the Government of Ecuador.

GET Forum – Foro Global de Emprendimiento y Tecnología para América Latina y el Caribe es el evento insignia del Grupo Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (Grupo BID) sobre innovación emprendedora de base tecnológica para el desarrollo. Forma parte de una plataforma del Grupo BID orientada a fortalecer ecosistemas de innovación emprendedora e impulsar la inversión en etapa temprana en la región.
Como evento de alto nivel con enfoque en negocios, GET Forum busca crear un espacio donde el talento, el capital y el conocimiento converjan para impulsar soluciones innovadoras con impacto escalable en la región.
El Foro reúne a actores de los sectores público y privado, de la región y del mundo, incluidos inversionistas, fundadores de startups, CEOs de corporaciones, expertos sectoriales, organizaciones de apoyo al ecosistema (aceleradoras, fundaciones, universidades, etc.) y representantes del sector público vinculados a la innovación y el emprendimiento.
El contenido y las actividades girarán en torno a tres pilares temáticos:
- Ampliar oportunidades económicas a través de habilidades tecnológicas
- Escalar la inversión y el capital de riesgo
- Diseñar políticas para mercados innovadores
GET Forum 2026 tendrá lugar en Quito, Ecuador, del 5 al 7 de octubre y se desarrollará bajo un modelo público-privado.
