EMBLA - Gender and entrepreneurship

One of Professor Malin Tillmar's interests is to highlight and understand entrepreneurship that is in the past, but which is not noticed in current research. Entrepreneurship and organizational change in emerging markets, and in particular the East African ones, are such examples. Prerequisites and conditions for women's entrepreneurship is another focus area.

This session is within the framework of the research field 'gender and entrepreneurship', where she is one of four researchers in the national excellence center EMBLA (www.emblaresearch.se). Together, the EMBLA group is currently conducting studies of women's entrepreneurship in rural areas, with funding from the Kamprad Foundation.
