Entrepreneurial Odyssey with CEO and Founder of Lovi Ceylon, Mr. Asanka De Mel
Speaker Profile:
Asanka De Mel is the founder and CEO of Lovi. Asanka founded LOVI to create an authentic and united fashion identity rooted in Sri Lankan ethos—with the hope of sharing his love of this island paradise, its people and its culture with the world. Two things you should know: he’s a visionary working towards developing Sri Lanka and he’s hell bent on building LOVI into an international fashion brand. Before starting LOVI, Asanka spent 20+ years in the US technology industry in Silicon Valley and New York City. He is a graduate of Harvard Kennedy School of Government in Public Policy and a graduate of University of Texas in Austin in Computer Science. He currently lives in Colombo, Sri Lanka with his wife, Marguerite, and two sons, Leo and Kavi.
