"Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation on 2 Sides of the Planet" live videoconference between Tajikistan and USA

Join us for a live videoconference between students of Tajikistan and those of the Anderson School of Management at the University of New Mexico.

The United States state of New Mexico and the Republic of Tajikistan are nearly opposite to each other on the planet's surface. However, there is much to share between these two beautiful places. Both have a rich ancestral heritage, and both have a relationship with larger economies that pose great oporotunities and challenges for businesspeople and for the communities they serve. In an era where social change is a big part of how businesses and economies develop, it is important to know how this concept is understood across large distances. Join students from the University of New Mexico and students from several universities in Tajikistan for a discussion on different prespectives on entrepreneurship and social innovation.

Here, we aimto foster discussion between the two countries regarding improving their entrepreneurial ecosystems and fostering further collaboration. Out of this discussion, we hope that both sides’ eyes will be opened to the differences of doing business in each country and that new business ideas will be hatched.
