Entrepreneurship Development Session (NSBM Green University Town)

The "Nurturing the Entrepreneurship Drive" seminar was organized by NSBM Green University to Celebrate the Global Entrepreneurship Week Celebrations 2022. This was conducted on November 14, 2022, Monday, from 01.00 pm t 04.30 pm at the auditorium of the Information Technology Agency of Sri Lanka

The event is graced by prominent speakers in the startup ecosystem in Sri Lanka. Mr. Miller Alexander Rajendran, Founder, CEO of SenzAgro shared his experience as a tech entrepreneur while Ms. Himali Suraweera, Founder, CEO of Durianzila shared her experience as being Women Student Entrepreneur representing a non-tech startup.

Mr. Mohammed Fawaz, Founder, CEO CurveUp conducted an energetic session on "How to prepare a business plan, and Mr. Mafaz, Co-Founder, Chief Story Teller of Show & Tell Presentations conducted an informative session on how to pitch your business idea to an investor.

The Global Entrepreneurship Week is a global initiative that recognizes and empowers entrepreneurs in every country through several initiatives. GEW is one of the Global Entrepreneurship Network's signature events organized in over 180 nations. Over 20,000 partner organizations and 40,000 activities will take place worldwide from November 14th to November 20th, 2022. The information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA) will host Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) in Sri Lanka, for the next three years till 2024.
